Religious Customs And Traditions In Pakistan

Religious Customs And Traditions In Pakistan

From religious view people in Pakistan celebrate festivals according to Muslim calendar (Lunar Calender). Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Milad-un-Nabi and  Ramadan. Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-ul-Adha are quite similar. Ramadan is the month of blessings for Muslims. People in Pakistan fast for one month from sun rise  to sun fall. These fast taught people what should be the conditions of those who only eats once in a day. They  also develop patience in Muslims. After Ramadan they celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. A day  before Eid-ul-fitr people donate a specific amount of money to poor people so they can also participate in the happiness of Eid. On Eid day People offer prayer in the morning and then visit their friends and relatives. On Eid-ul-Adha people slaughter animals including goat, cows, buffalos, camels and sheep. People bought these animals a week ago before Eid to develop affections with them. Eid-ul-Adha teaches Muslims about scarification .The meat is divided into three parts one for themselves and the second and third for friends and relatives.
